It felt like a much needed break, spent with hubby. It has been quite a while since we spent an afternoon like this, karaoke, movie and dinner. It wasn't a good start at work but I am glad to have taken the half day off. It's not to escape from the "problems" but more to rest my mind.
We went to watch a movie by Steve Carrell, Jim Carey and Steve Buscemi, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone". As always, Steve Carrell's show gives me the kind of humour I love. Some might be lame but they were hilarious. And I think my hubby was extremely entertained whenever Jim Carey appeared in the show. Hubby made a good movie choice cos' humour was definitely what I needed. But the karaoke cum lunch session at kbox was not too timely because my throat was itchy, thus I couldn't sing much. But, it wasn't wasteful because it was only $5 per pax for 2 hrs singing with lunch set.

After the movie, we got to shop around Marina Square and we saw a group of people setting up a Balloon Landscape at the centre atrium. Colourful and cheery. Evans would have loved this!

Finally we settled our dinner at the food court. Had my Japanese Set - Teppanyaki Saba Fish set which Bo has earlier recommended. For $6 I thought it was quite worth it to have the whole fish.
Tomorrow will be back to reality at work. I hope I will be able to end the day off with positive energy and plans for the work ahead. We will be having our retreat at RC tomorrow afternoon. Let's see what our takeaways will be.
